COMENIUS MEETING IN SOFIA

All partner schools were in Sofia for the project meeting from 21 till 25 March.
The Turkish partners arrived in the morning at the airport. The Polish partners arrived at two oclock and the Spanish and Romanian teams arrived at 11 in the evening. All host families and students together with the coordinator met the guests at the airport and at the central bus station on 20 and 21 March.

On 22 March there was a school concert with primary students and Mary Agasian, a music teacher at Pencho Slaveijkov School.
After the concert we presented our work.The online magazine, the calendar and discussed the project topics and results.The TV people came to make a video about our meeting.

All Comenius teachers had a meeting at the local municipality and shared their views about the opportunities of young people nowadays and  how local authorities can help.There was a presentation about the city and the region the municipality governs.

After the meeting at the municipality students and teachers visited some famous churches and places in Sofia.
In the evening all the teachers and students went to another school concert with primary and secondary students, organised by Svetlana Strunjeva, a teacher at Pencho Slaveijkov School.

There were more presentations and discussions on 22 March.
All Comenius students and teachers visited the National History Museum and Boyana Church.


On 24 March the Comenius teams cooked together typical European food and listened to Bulgarian folk music.The home and technology teacher from the Bulgarian team was wearing a national costume and helped everybody with the cooking.

                    After the cooking we had swot analysis- the evaluation of the project activities.
When everything was ready they called us to go to the culinary exhibition and eat what we had cooked.

Mrs Natasha Danova, the deputy headteacher and the coordinator Mrs Lorita Zaharieva were ready with the certifictes and some gifts for the Comenius partners.
